New Controllers from the AquaWiz builders - Super Brain Controller

Well, did you see what is all included? Auto testers, dosing, controller including power plugs. If it works it is a really good price. It is to me what Reefi did with the lights. Question will be is it ok to be invested with expensive equipment into such a small company.

New Controllers from the AquaWiz builders - Super Brain Controller

Thanks for the link! Just for clarification - I never said it was made by Fauna. Also, It is from Taiwan, not China. But you might still be correct that is 'made' in China. That, I do not know.

New Controllers from the AquaWiz builders - Super Brain Controller

I am getting more and more interested in this company. They seem to be able to develop good quality products at a reasonable price. Everything I heard from folks who use the AquaWiz is positive, except maybe the noise it makes when it tests. Their new line is now a Hydros competitor, which...

Alex’s Red Sea Reefer Nano (28-gallon)

I have been dosing both tanks but not daily, and mostly the frag tank. I always feel corals do better in the frag tank and attribute this to coral wow, since the rest is similar. Unfortunately, there is a recommendation to not dose this if your nutrients are above 20 nitrate and or 0.2 mg/L...

    DBTC RRC Goldenrod Anacropora

Probably not a great place to ask this question, but how much PAR and flow do you all give this one? Mine grew quite nicely since I got a frag from @ReyDeFarts, but I never know what it actually likes best FYI - It fell off the rock into the sand a few weeks ago and did not have a place to...

Coral ID - Which coral is this? Update: Montipora spongodes [for now…]

This name was actually no joke :). Someone who knows a ton about corals suggested that. But I think it does not quite look like mine.

Coral ID - Which coral is this? Update: Montipora spongodes [for now…]

The saga continues…. But folks, I have already printed this on the fancy label Casey recommended, so it is a monitpora spongodos right now, but still happy to entertain the discussion :)

This is currently a team of one, but I like this disruptor position haha :)

Can snails crash my calcium level?

Agreed - I was more brainstorming about what could cause low CA more broadly, not specifically to a particular system.

Can snails crash my calcium level?

So in conclusion, snails cannot crash your calcium level. More like a lesson to validate test kit results with a secondary test kit if reperformance of the test does not bring up a different result. i believe most of the times reperforming the test by re-reading the instructions solves most...

Coral ID - Which coral is this? Update: Montipora spongodes [for now…]

Also WWC coral calls this a montipora. Update: The website link name itself has it as an anacropora. Was this is recent change in the classification maybe? Still open to different views or clarifying my misunderstanding. https://worldwidecorals.com/products/wwc-slimeball-anacropora-coral

Coral ID - Which coral is this? Update: Montipora spongodes [for now…]

What is it then? P.S.: The picture @PizzaOven shared is from Biota. I was hoping they know the coral names, but these days, these things are not certain. The coral does look very close as in the picture.

Coral ID - Which coral is this? Update: Montipora spongodes [for now…]

I could not conclude on the type of coral based on some of the pictures I have seen. I thought it was a Bali Green slimer but they look different.

High Quality Underwater Digital Photos - Hawaii or Guam Themed

Yes, I have been looking at them previously but the good ones seem to sell out quickly.
