hey if you have a big net the red ones. you can try and scare him into one i used that technique lots of time with everything really i have 2 nets you could borrow if needs be. I know another trick but rarely works and most people will not like me for it haha.

There is one and I believe it works with Digital Aquatics, i think its called aquanotes or something like that.

It all depends on where you go because I got wet sand or carabean sand for just about the same as dry sand from my LFS. And you can go with a shallow sand bed in the DT. And a deep in the fuge just your preference really.
