Thanks! I think the animals not benefiting makes sense, but most of the time nutirent levels don't make sense when connected to feeding. I think very little in the hobby can be called best practice- all systems are bespoke and different.

I use a 28% TREO solution. For my 450 total water volume, I started with 30 ml in 3000 ml DI water, and started dosing that 40 ml over 24 hours directly into the skimmer, and bumped it up until I saw the phosphate start to come down.

Almost all problems I see with folks doing lanth is too much. Start really diluted, at a really slow rate and then use the phosphate results to tweak. Sneak up on it from the zero side.

The sicce work well and integrate easily. Mobius with MXM isn't that bad with the orbit gyres. I have not done it with vortech, but that would be your best best for replacing a wav because they are similar. Nothing is going to be as controallble as the wav. YOu can often find them used.
