    Growing copepods

No refugium atm. Previously I did not have macro algae in the tank. Now I have chaeto. I believe that is where the scar hangout. So you reckon the pods will grow within the chaeto? That would be really swell!

    Growing copepods

I want to create a healthy copepod population in my tank before introducing fish and more shrimp. Any tips on how to go about it? Previously when I had four fish and two shrimp, I ordered the pods and phyto from AlgaeBarn but the copepod population never took hold. Instead of doing the same...

Frozen food choice and have you had any issues?

since i only have an anemone and one peppermint shrimp, i feed the anemone a tiny piece of salmon or mackerel from my own food. I feed the shrimp a tiny bit of Ocean Nutrition flakes once every 3-4 days. i was going to ask how often I should feed the one shrimp =)

    Free GSP

@metareefer - i am doing just that with the back of my tank. I put three pieces across the base since they grow upwards and spread outwards a bit. i learned that it has to be full flat piece and not be a like a little branch piece.

Added 5 trochus snails to eat up the GHA and they are having a blast. One of the peppermint shrimp reappeared long enough for me to feed it. @Kensington Reefer - temp is 77F. Yes this hobby is intensive and I have been burnt out twice previously. That was pre-forum/community and the only person I could speak about the hobby was the guy at the LFS' that I was going to at the time. So hoping for a better run this time round. After all, the sixth tank is the charm...

Bay Bridges no longer carry saltwater fish to speak off. They have some now and then. They are mainly all about freshwater fish. They still carry saltwater and RODI and it is a 2 minute drive from my place =) Yes, been to High Tide, gorgeous livestock. Also went to a talk there once. It is...

@derek_SR I ordered the API Reef kit which measures calcium, carbonate hardness, phosphate, and nitrate. https://www.apifishcare.com/product/reef-master-test-kit. I happen to have two heaters. The tank runs warm during the summer and I wanted the space to try something else a few years ago...
