Exactly yes and nothing changed that I noticed. The emergency 3rd drain has a slow stream of droplets when the gate is fully open or fully closed.
I slowed the speed of the return pump so the noise of the overflow would be quieter. An attempt to keep my sanity, but definitely not a long term...

Yeah, I've seen it "hop". It pushes off with its foot. My fish aren't interested in the clam. Clam cradle may be the way to go. I'm also not 100% sure it's a maxima but that's what I bought it as.
I'm aware about the light needs, but the clam would throw itself off the rocks whenever I would have it higher up. Any advice on how to get it to "stick" to a more ideal spot?
