    Fluval 32g

Best way to beat diatoms is add live copepods like tisbe or apocyclops. Or buy some rubble from Kenny from his invert system or ask him to scoop out some from in there. Or order from Nathan @Coral Hub (Nathan) https://coralhubus.com/product/cultured-pods-all-species/ I'd probably do both to...

    IM 30L Long legs

Yep it helps colonize the rocks with bacteria and you'll get less junk growing right away. Or if you have any concrete in it, it will keep curing and adding alkalinity during that process. I'd probably do it for a couple weeks or more if you can be patient enough.

Maybe soak the rocks in a bucket of old water from a water change for a bit to help them cure?

    210 gallon Dream tank

Tunze pumps use the least amount of energy if you're trying to reduce load. But even an MP40 will only draw 38w or so at peak flow. The lights are 90w each at peak too. You'll be using more energy from heaters I'd bet.

    How do you lower Nitrates

That's so funny, I had the opposite experience back in the late 2000s. I was doing the vinegar super saturated kalk though vs. vodka plus kalk.

Welcome back! There's always people looking for aiptasia to farm berghia with so that's an option. Any fish still kicking around in there?

    20g Nano Mixed Reef

The immortal tort is definitely tough. Mine died halfway after getting stung while I was on vacation, got covered in cyano and hair algae, but still ended up recovering and growing branches really fast. Keep an eye on the money cowries. When they find a place they like to lay eggs, they can...

What would you do? Blue Clove Polyps

Never saw these until the Aussie shipments started coming in around 2008-09. Hard to see but zoom into the left scoly. You can see how they start to encroach and kill tissue after a few months:

I used to freeze the jug of the Vitamix in addition to the ice cubes, it helps a bit.

    Cheapest ICP OES-MS

ATI is $190 for 6 tests right now with sales so that's about $34 after tax.

Likely it's to keep everything at the same osmotic pressure and not cause cell membranes to burst when freezing and preventing freezer burn.

Looks like they don't include postage, how much does it usually cost to ship without a return label? Couldn't find their address to check.

Fairly similar to the old pappone recipe I brought back from Italian reefers in 2006: https://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=971190&page=30 The big thing was to use fresh ingredients if possible (just to minimize freeze thaws). I think the capelin roe I added to the recipe later on...

Solving Bubble Algae and Aiptasia Issue in Nano Reef Tank?

Never had issues here with peppermints and LPS. I have had issues back in the day with camels sold as peppermints however. Kenny has had the right ones every time. They generally show up as bycatch for crabs in the Caribbean in the winter months.

Solving Bubble Algae and Aiptasia Issue in Nano Reef Tank?

In a 6g there's no fish that's appropriate to do the job though. The peps will be far better.
