Yeah, the Jebao comes with a spare head so it is a pretty decent deal. My Jebao doser has been running for 5 months now. No issues other than that one head breaking early on.

I also have one of these. One of the dosers heads stopped working after only a few weeks of operation. Thankfully I am only using 2 of the dosers so I just switched to one of the open heads. I am hoping to get 1-2 years out of this cheap doser. I will likely upgrade eventually.

I am in Saratoga which I believe is served by the same water service as San Jose. I also have a whole house water softener. I generate zero TDS RODI without issue. Something must be wrong with the unit BRS sent. I am on the road now but can post a picture of what my BRS setup looks like tomorrow.

RedSea has a DIY tank cover kit which is relatively economical. If you don't go that route then there are the custom lid makers which for that size tank I assume would cost $250-400 depending on who you go with and how customized it needs to be.

I hope Fauna Marin salt is comparable to Tropic Marin. I am using both Nyos and Tropic Marin salt since both mix and store very clean. If Fauna Marin is comparable I will just go with whatever on sale. If you try FM put please post a review!
