Would be easier to help with a tank journal. There’s lots of factors you haven’t mentioned. As such I’m not gonna throw out guesses. Nitrate near zero is a no no for me. 66 for a few days could be trouble as well, especially when you start piling on things that aren’t right like all swings...

Do you think it would work to attach a rig made like this to the back of a stand and have it hang out over the tank rather than hanging from above? I have done that with the metal electrical conduit before and been happy with the result

Borrow suction cups and rent a U-Haul is going to be cheap and doable for that tank

Polyps come out to try and feed, right? Food in the water column more often might help that. When I started to dose vinegar I thought I saw more polyp extension on my sps. I reasoned that maybe they were eating the bacteria I was feeding. Who knows. Probably not.

Im not a fan of flakes in autofeeders unless it’s an auger type. I also don’t like to mix pellets and flakes in the spinning types because they usually won’t give you a repeatable dose

If you feed more often it will help. Use an autofeeder w pellets.

More, and more often. Not sure how many fish you have exactly, or how large. If you’re giving a cube, I always like to feed some pellets too. Why not? I also have always used autofeeders so food goes in every day at regular times wether you remember/are home, etc… I feel like a good quality...
