I have had good luck with not scratching using the tunze metal blades, 3 years on my Red Sea and the only scratch is outside the tank.

Plan A, 2 adults lift one end, the other adult acts and a achor to prevent it sliding off, and person 4 (or child slides the mat on the one side. The matt is in 2 pieces so we would do center to one side then the other. Might be good to use some text books to make it easier (I have plenty)...

Ive had it since first release, all 3 ive owned (via swap out) have calcium issues, ive tried everything, its just a hobby grade toy that needs a lot of finesse, Alk is great, but due to past experienced I would be very hesitant to try a NP.
