How much to feed fish? Do we tend to overfeed our pets? Easy to feed a lot, difficult to feed the right amount

It hurts me to see folks saying just feed less, I’m with yah, feed more! Shoot today I think I fed my tangs 6 sheets of nori. I’d rather deal with nutrients and dial my system in with high feeding than starve my animals. Like Rich says, “If it’s got a mouth it probably wants to eat”.

    Free 150 gallon tub/Cardinal flower

Correct, check out any tour on YouTube for ORA. They don’t have a single powerhead in the farm. Every raceway has a Carlson surge at both ends. Next week when I have time I’m gonna start playing with the set up and see if I can’t flood my garage lol.

    Free 150 gallon tub/Cardinal flower

So what I’m thinking is link the tubs together ( I have a 100 gallon tub for sump) to handle the surge volume. I’ve got a 55 gallon barrel I’m thinking about using, 2” outlet that split into 2- 1.5” both left and right of the tank. If all works well I was even thinking taking two 55 gallon...

    Vintage HiFi enthusiasts?

I’ll forever love these speakers. They could definitely be more high end but I’m not getting into that higher end price range. Audio has gotten way out of control. I gotta be happy with what I have. One year I plan to completely refinish and revamp with updated drivers and horns.

    Randy Holmes Farley Magnesium DIY

Just upgraded into a 400 gallon system and was wondering if this recipe from Randy still holds up to 2026 standards. I used to get by with ESV on the 180 gallon system but with the jump up its making me think about these DIY methods to help the finances. Anybody using his mix? any ill effects...

Looking for some part time work? Reef Beef is looking....

I agree, if you can’t find anybody I’d be open to seeing where I could help if you wanted to train. Unfortunately I work in the medical field so my skill sets reside elsewhere but I have a staggering amount of down time in front of a computer with my job.
