Ok, made a lot of progress today. Got it all plumbed and running. Moved the sand, rock and livestock over. Blindly scaped it, so I’m sure I’ll do a bunch of moving things around. Tomorrow I’ll get the lights mounted and cleanup all the wiring.
No, I kept it internal due to space and stand restrictions. But it’s actually a little smaller than the other tank, since it’s all 1” holes. So that’s good
Yes, there are polycarbonate lids. Haven’t removed any of the paper yet
Ok. Tank swap has started! Stock tank setup and all rocks and fish transferred over. Doing fine! Sand is in a cooler. Tank is drained and all plumbing disconnected. Ready for its pickup later tonight. New tank is awaiting its spot. Hopefully everything is in place by tomorrow afternoon.
I received both sets of cups the other day. I’m hopefully done with them tomorrow. Thursday night at the latest. All yours in your in line for them. I’m just in San Carlos, so very close
As many of you know, this tank sprung a leak. Front seam about six inches down. I’m prepping the tank swap as I type. So I’m offering this up free to whoever might want it before it goes to the dumps.
It is the old AC display tank. 72x30x24. It has custom top lids covers and all the plumbing...
Ok tank is on its way. Will be here tomorrow, unfortunately I work all weekend, so swap will be next week. Wed-fri I have set aside.
Anyone interested in a free 220 with a small leak?
Ok. I ordered a new tank. It should arrive next week. John at Advanced Acrylics definitely hooked me up. So now I need to plan everything out. My thoughts are as follows;
Secure a temp holding tank of some sort for the fish and corals for a week or two. Make that move.
Breakdown existing tank...
