I paid $200 or so to get someone to clear several medium size yellow jacket nest on the eaves. It’s 2 story high. I tried to spray the nest ( aerosol on a long pole ). When they start to swarm, I run for my life! Can’t imagine if I’m on a ladder. Not fun.

It might worth $25 to get protective clothing especially you’re climbing on a ladder...

I enable auto dosing, but set the low to 8.0. . Have not trigger the dose yet. So far my tank have been very stable ( as expected) . I did make minor adjustment to reduce the alk swing. I also increase kalk to get ph up at night. Still very happy with the purchase .

I concur. No need to dose kalk. If you alk is at 8.2 and stable, let it be. No need to complicate things otherwise you’ll end up like me ( I have 5 dosing container + ato) . Life should be easier but oh well
