    Water testing setup

I have one but to dang big lol. I've only used it once, can't fit in my tank and so far I haven't done a huge water change beyond using a few 5 gallon buckets. Not really a complaint, I just find the Hanna checker more convenient. Not arguing the other is likely more accurate here, however...

    Inkbird Wifi

I just pulled wifi one off my tank they constantly set off their alarms my issue with them crazy beeping I couldn't stop like every day. Turn it off than it beeps again the next day. I switched back to the non wifi ones on other tanks already while back from same issue.

    Hans’ Coral Club Tank

Awesome how much space does your sump have. I have a 3 larger leathers I could bring for you. It would ould definitely help if you bring a 5 gallon bucket and lid so I could keep my own bucket. By larger: think 6-7,inches in height. Just confirm with me you will be there and I'll bring them.

    I don’t think it’s hair algae

Fish not doing well - Bad RODI water quality?

I wouldn't rule out possibly ich. Just the fact these things are magnets for it. They drop off the fish and come back worse or lesss- I think it's part of their life cycle. I would only say it's not velvet that can wipe out the entire tank in 24hrs or less. Fish can still eat and have ich...

Fish not doing well - Bad RODI water quality?

Can you get very clear photos of the tangs under white lights. That tang is highly prong to fish parasites. Hard to see it clearly with it moving in the video. Hopefully it's nothing parasite related yet it could be very early stages meaning fast action could save them. Understand that all the...

    Hans’ Coral Club Tank

I have a decent collection of leathers I would be willing to donate a larger one, or a few random frags. They are almost impossible to kill unless you actually make a effort to kill them. Good to be one of first corals in a new system do to their hardness and low care requirements. Once tank...

    Woe Day Scammer

Just my general thoughts here as a avid purchaser of used equipment. (not anything representing bod here) I would say that 85% of my stuff is used including tanks, lights and other major equipment items. There were a few key items or equipment I purchased new but not many. Buying used...

    210 gallon Dream tank

I Added a lot more coral today. Frag tank has gone from full to nearly empty except half of my torches, a few random lps, zoas, and mushrooms, clean up crew, and 2 fish, a melanurus wrasse and that baby maroon clownfish. I added 6 trochus snails to help with diatoms, moved a yellow corsis...

Are these frag plugs the annoying ones?

Reefing art I think they are called. Very difficult to cut and break stems off. I think it depends on how long and what temperature the ceramic plugs are fired at that determines how hard they are when finished. Some ceramic ones are much easier to frag and break up than others. Some could...

Qckslvr’s biocube 32 is off and running.

+1 and keep lights off until you have coral that require it. Lights will only grow alage.

How does fish feeding translate into nutrients? N and P specifically!

I thought they used tdo pellets? I mean they probably use different foods as well I would imagine. Giving my fish tdo pellets makes them all go nuts like shaking the bag of cat treats lol. They swim much faster to grab them and some of the wrasses, and my larger maroons do top water explosions...

    High TDS after RODI

Just how it was set up, it was working and reading 0 tdos until a week ago. I don't know what I'm doing plumbing wise. The master plumber helped me hook it up. I only know what the different parts are supposed to do from research. It's been working so don't trust myself and lack of plumbing...

    High TDS after RODI

Membrane is last in the system. Everything else is right. Yea it was zero, now showing 1. I Probably need to swap the sediment filters or carbon block. Both Di resin are still at halfway point. Not crazy worried about it showing 1. I have the replacements already just need to actually swap...

    High TDS after RODI

Keep your eyes open, for a rodi unit sometimes people just give them away here. I personally gave away 2 of them I acquired from break downs. Ro buddy can work but it's like a super budget option smaller canisters it looks like they may not last as long. Only a guess on my part as I never had...

    Longhorn cowfish

How big was the cubes? And do u think larger water volume would help dilout any toxins? Maybe running carbon reactor could also help?

    Longhorn cowfish

Not many but seems more people say that if it dies it's unlikely to release toxins. Open power heads seem to be a concern happen with @Srt4eric I recall. I will just use nem guards on mine to reduce the risk. Most useful videos about them are over 15 years ago. The more recent ones feature...
