If it's ostreopsis, that can be toxic and fatal for some inverts. If you can get a sample of it under the microscope, then at least have a better plan on how to combat it. If you can confirm ostreopsis, then some carbon and UV will really help battle it. Also, a healthy dose of AquaForest Life...

Kalkwasser can help absorb/precipitate the toxins from what I heard from Dong of AcroGarden. May be worth a try. Also, reminder for June update to stay active for the Q2 showcase.

Don't lease the system. Just don't do it. Look at the estimated annual electrical usage report they gave you again and add another 10-20% to that to get a better calculation of what you'll need. Size your system with enough battery to power your house during peak usage. Then can charge them up...
