Based on last year’s experience, I have focused on finding more literature, but the one I really wanted to find was about to get another update, and only releases in August - which is a brand new edition of the Fossa/Nielson The Modern Reef Aquarium. they are about to re-release Volume 1 after they updated this (in German language only) a few years ago.

Still, I found a few other interesting books/booklets releated to tangs, fish diseases Stony Corals, and Fish of the Indian Ocean.

Here's another video from my visit to the Karlsruhe/Germany Vivarium this week. It recently added a second shark (after the other died, I believe, due to an accident).

I am not sure if I have shared this video already, but I found this quite exciting when they added the second shark, and the drama surrounding this (auto-translate seems to work more or less ok):

Thanks for sharing. I’m always interested in how people reef in different countries and the different brands they use that aren’t as well known here.
DELTEC is much more popular, and there are options for ozone (many use both UV + Ozone). Reef Octopus seems to be non-existent in Germany, and I have not seen Hydros. Red Sea (non-German brand) is pushing very hard in major retailers but gets very bad feedback when discussed in German speaking forums, very similar to English speaking forums. EHEIM of course is very prominent, Abyzz is too expensive for many so only used in larger installs, similar to Royal Exclusive. Tunze is more popular with their various and more affordable pumps. Fish food (branding) is also very similar - have not seen anything similar to TDO (which requires cooling).
