anyone's PC infected with brastk.exe

My uncle's PC got this piece of $h*... I can't figure out how to delete it. Boot in safemode and delete all the brastk.exe and karna.exe. Nothing in the registry but everytime I reboot the damn thing came back.. I can't install antivirus software or spybot because it's blocking it. Please help me if you fix this before.. I'm about to pull out my hammer >:(..

How do you run it when you can't install it??.. ;D

Anyway.. I figure it out.. it's working now.. Only took me 3 hours >:( ..

Thanks Levi.. I fixed it.. edit/delete a bunch of registry keys. Found a file that remove the virus but not sure if it didn't anything because it ran for like 1 second and came back saying virus cleaned.

just disconnect your uncles PC from the internet, it's obvious he's more of a problem than what he benefits ... kind of like my parents *sigh*

so it's a question of is the bugging worse the the virus? :D

I had this problem with an old boss of mine. I would have to clean the computer daily :(

I've seen problems with one of those antivirus 2007 2008 popups. Can't ever get rid of it. Even after deleting all the registry keys that were recommended online. better to just remove ever ythingyou want to save and start all over again :)

Be sure to dip any new hardware in povidone before installing it in the machine!

You need to toss in a whole pill of interceptor for every 10GB to kill this thing.

This one is Antivirus 2009 Doug. You need boot in safemode and delete a bunch of files too. I still have the remover if you needed.

Haha True, but Macs don't get bugs.
