AP700 Arms

Decided to swap out my lights with the AP700s I picked up from fellow members along with new arms last night...

Only to find out that the bracket needs at least 3-4 inches of clearance from the wall.... ARGH! I don't have that at the moment...and really don't want to slide my tank further from the wall fro reasons of structural stability. A ceiling mount is also off the table. Drilling holes in prefab ceilings is not the best idea in my book...perhaps just me.

Anyone ever try using the Kessil arms flipped around where the inner part with the 2 plastic bolts are on the outside and tubs are inside, and partially in the water? (i.e., turn the arms 180 degrees from the default configuration to mount)

L bracket and mount a deep board above your tank and mount your light that way. You can also mount the rack upside down if you don’t care for the look.
