Probably went in to get water if I was to guess. They sale both rodi and saltwater.

I imagine we will see no buckets beyond water station signs from now on at the lfs, or bucket checks on the way out.

Ive never bought water in a bucket. I always use those jugs. I have brought buckets when I'm trying to offload coral though.

I usually bring in a soft cooler. Will be a bummer if I start having to do the whole "leave it at the door" thing.

That being said, this seems like a best case scenario for how this could've happened. Dude on 4k looking quality camera, obviously stealing. If anyone can get caught after a 1 time heist it should be this guy.

He's definitely famous (infamous) in the whole bay area now. He will show his face sooner or later and get identified I hope.

Too bad the police are not interested in solving and prosecuting property crimes. Even if we all said, “Hey that’s Jimmy!” nothing would happen.

Slightly off topic. Someone stole my bike and my neighbor confronted the thieves and record the entire incident. Clear video showing his face and license plate of the get away vehicle. When I contacted the local PD , the officer trying to talk me out from filling a report since they are not going to take any further action . I insisted and have the report filed anyway.

Crazy, I video taped my neighbors bike being stolen in Berkeley. Police responded with in 20 mins, they had the bike back and the guy arrested with in the hour. The police came back later and was laughing because the video I got was so good. They said it helped get the guy for breaking into another house as well.

I've never seen a store allow it. 100% always clear jugs.

Some stores I have visited only allowed you to use their branded jugs.
