Bashea Twisted Skimmer or Beckett Style Skimmer

Never used the bashed one. But I know with Beckett style skimmer like MRC and deltec you gotta stay on maintenance more frequently to keep a consistent skimmate. It may be easier now if you have a DC pump that you can adjust on the fly.

Pros: they rarely overflow when tuned right and can be ran external to your sump

Cons: if the pump and venturi aren't maintained frequently the skimmate gets dryer and dryer till the water level is too low
