Chalice Splitting

Is it common for Chalices to split? I have a MyMilami Chalice that split into to separate frags on its own. Just wondering if this has happened to any of you. Never heard of that happening lol

Nope, never heard of that happening either. I mean I've seen chalices get a "line" of dead tissue that forms in the middle and then two halves recover fine, but never a separate little bugger that just starts its own little round growth pattern.
.

Tried to get a good pic with my phone but not so great. Notice the piece that split on the left is on a higher stub?

i have a chalice that "split" due to high flow. too much flow caused recession and resulted in two "pieces" that was on dead skeleton.
