Coral ID Something amongst my Sympodium. What is it??

I have this softie growing out the middle of my one of my Sympodium colonies. It almost looks like a Scarcophyton (Toadstool) but the polyps are different.

The first pic is actual size of the coral.

First guess would be Goniopora or Alveopora but the amount of tentacles isn't right (8 instead of 12 or 24). Got any bigger pics?

I'm going to get some shots with a macro lens.
It has no hard skeletal base, it is definitely a soft coral.

Yeah or one of the "ballling" ones. That was my thought as well. No time to grab books today though, sorry
