DI resin good again?

I left my depleted DI resin in a bucket outside and it turned blue again. It was completely orange before. What does that mean?

As I recall I think the color changes are pH driven, or some other secondary marker, that can be tweaked by outside environmental factors. I would NOT assume it has regenerated. If you are curious, it might be interesting to see what color it is when you run fresh RO water (neutral pH) through it.

Ya, I believe it's ph driven.

could always hook it up to your RO unit and see if it actually gives 0 TDS after the fact. But yeah what everyone else said, pH determines color.
