Does anyone understand how to use a Hydros as a AWC?

I should post this as a question on a Hydros forum, but I want to rant first. I kinda hate this thing. I like aspects of it, but overall I just find the device pretty disappointing.

It goes so far out of its way to be easy, that it makes things more complicated than they already are (simple <> complex, easy <> hard).

1. you can't silence an alarm going off, such as a false alarm on a leak sensor. You have to completely disable alarms or change it to not consider that sensor an alert condition. Even worse you have to do it on the app and not the device. Together that means an alarm just goes off and off until I disable it, and then you're almost guaranteed to forget to reenable it.
2. the AWC control is ... garbage. The only way to trigger one is with the schedule, you cannot do one on demand. So I have to keep it disabled usually, then enable it and try and set it to run a couple minutes in the future.
3. the AWC keeps going into infinite loops. I do not trust it at all, so I have to manually use it (#2). Every time I leave it enabled for awhile, it just goes into infinite loops changing water over and over.

Does anyone use this device as an AWC and have success? So frustrating.

Also if anyone wants to buy a hydros blenny LMK. I'll trade for any form of apex that has two 12v outputs.

A hydros minnow or blenny would likely be my next hydros product I pick up. Have you tried contacting their support. I hear they are fairly responsive.

I haven’t tried setting up a AWC with Hyrdos yet but I think I have an Apex A3 with EB832 I can trade for your Blenny.
Let me see if I can figure out how to have an apex directly control the 12v motors I have. I already setup those, so I'd rather not have to start over. Worst case I guess I switch to control it from 12v power adapters plugged into the EB.

Do you have a level sensor and/or a temp sensor? I have both for the blenny.

I’ve got everything this bundle comes with.

A3 Apex Base Unit
Energy Bar 832
Magnetic Optical Sensor
(MOS)
LD-2 Leak Sensor
Temperature & pH Probes
