If you feed your tank too often, the peppermints become used to the tasty food and ignore the aiptasia. I have had success with even just one or two peppermints if I feed the tank only about once a week. Also you have to be sure they aren't camel shrimp, but i'm sure you know the difference. Kalk, etc... don't work for me either. One thing you can do that I think Mona used to do is have a small tank and put a couple aiptasia rocks in there and put the peppermints in with it and don't feed anything. Once they develop a taste for the aiptasia, add them to your main tank. sorry this thread is getting a little derailed.

thanks for the correction. i guess i'm generalizing when I say zoanthid, because if I am not mistaken zoanthidae is the family under which palythoa, parazoanthus,zoanthus etc... are genuses

If you have Windows XP, the Image Resizer is a cool download

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

You can basically resize on the fly.

Windows XP??? What you need is Vista, which has this as part of the OS apps :-) XP is so .... Last year :-)
