Hello fellow aquarium enthusiasts! My name is Greg; I live in santa rosa with my wife, 3 kids, a chocolate lab, some chickens and my new obsession fish and corals.
My aunt got me into the hobby a couple years back, she brought me home a betta. Fast forward, my 15g a.i.o planted tank with cardinal tetras and a pair of German blue rams got NUKED!! By my, at the time 6 year old son. I was out of town and he fed a nearly full bag of food pellets. Il let your imagination do the rest.
After a small break I got a 35 gallon planted tank set up which is doing good. The plants weren't enough I wanted corals!!
I currently have a 35 gallon, rookie mixed reef, work in progress. The system is about 5 months in the making. Once I find some time I will make a journal. I also have a 15 gallon fowlr and a 10 gallon quarantine/observation tank.
I was first introduced to the club at a cocktails and corals talk at high tide with Jullian and Charles back in september.(thanks kenny) As an outsider I felt very welcome right out of the gate and struck up conversation with more than a handful of members. I had never heard of BAR so I went home signed up and have since been lurking from time to time.
Getting deeper into the hobby, I feel that my next move is to get involved with the community. So here I am. Thanks to all the members, past and present, that have created this place for us to share our passion for all things marine and otherwise.
