JBJ chiller - cleaning with citric

Hi All,

Looks like @Chromis might have used citric in the past to clean their chiller.

Is there a verdict on best way to clean it? I didn’t see anything on their manual. Possible I missed it but it was only a few pages long.

I purchased a used JBJ and running Citric Acid about 24 hours then switch to Vinegar solution for another 48 hours. The Chiller was only used for less than 4 months but sat around for over a year so there were lot of stuffs came out. Then I flush it with Regular water then RO/DI before hooked it up to my tank.
Glad I took the extra steps to clean it!
So far so good!
