keeping glass tank outside..

I think I'm going to pick up a 150G glass tank from Craig. The problem is I don't have room at my house right now so I have to store it at my parent place. Can't put it in the garage so it's going outside under the patio. Do you think it will be ok there for a while? I won't put any water in it and will make some kind of cover for it. Will the heat effect the silicone?

the molding on glass tanks is not the best to store in a direct UV source such as the sun.

There will be no direct or indirect sun. I will cover that whole thing. So the high then cold temperature won't have any effect right??

Not like it would someplace where it actually gets hot and cold :D

says a guy who used to freeze his arse of in Penn

Well don't forget what one particular member had happen to a tank that was sitting in the back of his truck!

Not sure if that was due to the overflow or not but.... yeah :D

That was because he had a little bit water in the tank. If the tank is wet and you have it out under direct sun, most likely it will crack.
