Rules
You must Bring 3 Frags to participate, they can be a mix of LPS, SPS, Softies and Zoas.
If you do not have 3 frags to bring you can pick some up at a LFS for around $30.00, but we strongly encourage you to buy them from our LFS that are sponsoring the event, they have all agreed to have 3 frags available to you for around $30.00 or less.
All frags must come in hard containers and clearly marked with your RC handle, name of coral(scientific or common name),Genus (LPS,SPS,Softy,Zoas,Paly’s etc…), lighting , flow and any special feeding requirements. We would suggest using labels and putting them on a place on the container were they will not get wet.
If you do not bring frags in a hard container they will be available at check in for $1.00 each, labels will also be available at check in, but PLEASE have them pre labeled and in hard containers as check in will go much faster that way!!!
We also suggest to bring a cooler to bring your frags in and to store them after your picks.

Sounds like a great event.

Mr. Ugly and I are planning to go with some nice frags to show our support for our friends to the north. What are you bringing?

MARS Frag Swap is this Saturday. Entrance is $12 if you prepay by paypal by Wednesday (I think).

So far 50 people have prepaid. We estimate that will equate to 100 swappers. The raffle is looking to be huge. All the local stores have stepped up and donated lots of livestock for the raffle. The grand prize is a pair of Hawaiian Flame Wrasses.

Remember that you can bring toys and canned food donations and get raffle tickets in return!

Here is a link to prepay: http://forums.marineaquarist.org/BuySwapTicket.html

Nice frag swap. Thanks for the invite :D

Well organized, and the sounds effects on the count down timer cracked me up :D

Best part of the swap for me... a bunch of people sneaking cool frags into Levi Jr.'s cooler when nobody was looking, haha :D

How about that... in BAR, you have to watch your cooler so that nobody gives you corals. Several people said the swap was a success for them because they were able to get away without any new corals :D

Fun time hanging out and seeing a bunch of our reefers friends from the other clubs.
