Need Help removing a GBTA

Hi Everyone,
I tried to remove a GBTA tonight and failed. I really don't want to hurt it, but would like to give one of the clone's away. I put about eight ice cubes in a ziplock bag, and placed it on the foot. It got stressed, both clowns bit me several times, and the foot didnt let go. What else can I try? I was thinking of making ice cubes out of RO/DI, then placing the cube right on the foot. Thanks for the help,
Tim

Maybe try pointing a powerhead towards it to get it to move, and then try and slip a finger underneath the foot?
Or if you can, just give it away on the piece of a rock (if it is small enough) it's on.

This is pretty drastic, but I've put the rock w/ the nem in the bottom of a bucket with just a little bit of water. With the nem mostly out of the water. Worked 3 out of 5 times for me, the nem just sorta let go and started migrating towards the water.

Powerhead should hopefully work. Take a lot of time and slowly try to lift off one little edge of the foot and go from there. It'll take a lot of time to test every cm of it, but it's worth it. Fingernails and/or plastic cards work great for this.
