Neptune EB832 Not Working

I believe my Neptune Apex EB832 has failed. The unit stopped working last week, and I suspect it's due to a power surge that happened while I was on vacation. Before I left, I had an Energy Bar 6 plugged into the EB832. I came back to find that the Energy Bar 6 had gotten wet and was fried.

Here are the specific symptoms:
  • The EB832 has no lights on the front.
  • The internal fan is much louder than it used to be.
  • When I unplug the unit and plug it back in, I hear a "clicking" sound, which indicates that the internal power supply might still be getting some power.
The most confusing part is that my Vortech pump, which was plugged into the EB832, continued to work until I unplugged the EB832 to troubleshoot it. After plugging it back in, the Vortech pump no longer receives power (it is fine when plugged directly into the wall).

I've looked at some troubleshooting videos online, but the repairs seem to be beyond my skill level. I'm wondering if anyone in my local area has experience repairing these units. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven’t deep dived into them. But what I can tell you is if they are the early models. When there is a power surge / fluctuation. It blows out part of the unit. I can’t remember the exact part but Eric @Srt4eric. Told me to buy the part on eBay. I did. It worked. I’ve fixed two of them so far. If you can’t find the part I can try to look it up for you.

I think I’m having a different issue than the one described in the link. When I plug my unit in, I hear the clicking sound and the fan comes on. The LEDs do not come on and I don’t get power to the outlets. Any other thoughts?
