Cali Kid Corals

New to reefs! Cpl quick question

Hi Im new to this site and saltwater tanks, So far iv been pretty quick with learning how to care for the water and keeping the levels PH,Phosphate,Calcium, and salt levels in good standing. But now im starting on learning on how to care for the coral and the two clown fish I own. I thought it would be a good idea to start with a nano tank but I was wrong (to late) so anyways Im trying to figure out the types of coral that i started with and the care for them I just ended an Alge take over by feeding my clowns less and moving them away from the direct sunlight. But now my issues are on the care of one of my corals and these snake like things that appear. My own coral I beleve is a sea mat but I could be wrong has shrivled and wont "bloom" as I say since this brown mushroom has appeared in it. Could someone please help me identify my coral and the snake like things that are appearing.

Yeah that's a pico tank, a small one at that.

a good place to find info here:

People usually only keep one small fish in a tank that size. Here's a good pico/nano fish guide:

It also looks like you have a trumpet coral in the back. I also recommend that you move the mushroom out of the zoanthids and into an area where they can proliferate without having to worrying about enroaching on other coral. I also think a tube worm would look really good in the tank.
