Opinion on these hitchhikers...

Hello all, I saw a post about a year ago that I think may be the same critter, but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered these... If so, are they are worth saving? Or not worth the risk?

Just received a coral shipment with one coral seemingly infested with this hitchhiker. Google searching the image and doing a little research it looks like it is highly likely to be a sphaeromatidae. Saw some posts that they are voracious algae eaters. But I trust BAR first hand experience more than random reef2reef posters.

Has anyone ran across is guy? Had any good things to say about them? Corals are in QT. This guy and his homies are in a bag awaiting their fate.
