I do find that a CO2 scrubber much more effective for my tank than kalk -or rather due to the CO2 abundance -kalk is fairly ineffective unless I really add in a lot which then causes alk swings and salinity issues.
However my attempts to create a recirc CO2 scrubber system has met some obstacles.

In the system, I tape up the skimmer lid, a 1/2 inch OD hose goes from lid to a moisture chamber then feeds into the BRS CO2 scrubber and then feeds back into the venturi (with a T connector from the air silencer). The issue is the humidity. The CO2 canister still looks like a sauna and it pretty much KO's the CO2 media within a week.

The next step I can figure is get another chamber and fill with a gel desiccant after the moisture chamber. But I think the RH will eat through the desiccant. Any input on how to get this working right appreciated.

TIA

New to me as well-
I mean besides the benefit to the fish tank -may be also beneficial to humans - average CO2 is coming in around 600-700 with windows closed- not the worst but could
Be better
I'm running anywhere from that up to over 1000ppm early in the morning. Installing mine soon so I'll report back with numbers.
