My ranco controller that runs my heater seems to have died? A couple weeks ago the screen went blank, so I unplugged it for a few days, and I retried it after a few day, and it worked again. Slowly bumped up the temp, and now it is dead again? Anyone have problems like this before?
 
When i started reading about Ranco controllers I saw a similar story on a brewing forum. It's dead Jim. The good news is that you now have a spare probe.
 
Bummer, I just bought one. I love it so far...........simple, and keeping the temp super stable. Hope it lasts. :( Maybe contact them and see if they will replace it?
 
Contacted, no response. Like the units, have several running. Beginning to wonder on the company tho. I like to be responded to promptly

does not come with any heating element, it's your for a few corals. I switch to Digital Aquatics so I don't need this controller anymore.
