Recent rodi threads got me curious and after a bunch of reading got a question about tds creep. At idle, the h2o in the product (clean) due to osmosis will migrate to the waste side of the membrane. Thus the product will have less h2o and higher tds percentage, though the same amount of tds. It isn’t that tds is moving from waste to the product. Is that correct? If so the amount of h2o moving from product to waste for single membrane rodi should be pretty minimal, say a cup at most?
