Been getting these little orange dots on the glass where my chaeto is growing in the sump. I figured they were pod eggs but not sure. There are a bunch of tiny looking insects crawling on the glass. I tried to take pictures of them, but they are too small.

I took a picture of the orange dots. Can someone identify these and hopefully they are not something bad. I'll try to take better photos of the insects.

Are you taking about what is in the center of the picture or the blob on the lower right side?

If lower right side, that is planaria.

So far I've only seen it in the sump. Is it most likely in the display also? I really don't see it there, but probably best to treat the entire tank. What a bummer :-(.

Green planaria... fairly harmless but will multiply.

The red ones suck...

You could put a clown, damsel, wrasse, or manadarin (if you have one of these) down there for a bit.. and they'll help pick em off.
