Where do you guys get "egg crates"?

First of all, my apologies for starting a whole thread for such a noobilous question. But I was wondering where you guys get those egg crates that reefers use for frag tanks, sumps, and DIYs? And yes I did walk around Home Depot for at least an hour looking for this elusive creature but to no avail. I wanted to ask a homedepot worker but I didn't know how to describe it, I'm pretty sure it's not called an egg crate in the real world... right?

It's pretty easy to find white egg crate, like at Home Depot. Finding black is harder. Black sold at neptune and BRS.

Here's another noob question, does the color matter one way or another or just aesthetics?

Some people say the white eggcrate is more prone to algae, possibly due to phosphate.

I think there is something to be said about white being more prone to algae, maybe because light reflects off the white surface better so when it starts to grow algae it can still get illuminated from "within".

That's what I figured as well.
