Brs got greedy and only sells their 1 gal packs, premium and saltwateraquarium both don’t sell a powered grade- any ideas ?
Why don’t you just use baking soda and bake it for a hour ? I do it once every 6 months to a year. Make 5 gallons at a time. Hella cheaper.
How much you go through? That is a lot for sure!60lb
Approximately 1lb a month. Yeah, it should last me 5 years. $22.50/year is cheap enough that i don't care about baking soda DIY method. How much you go through? That is a lot for sure!
i can't do math. $90/5 = $18 a year. That's a Happy meal at McD?Approximately 1lb a month. Yeah, it should last me 5 years. $22.50/year is cheap enough that i don't care about baking soda DIY method.

Good advice. I have it stored in a seal plastic bag in a 5g salt bucket with cover. So far so good.Better store it in a good way... after a year if exposed to air, it will partially convert to sodium bicarbonate and become lumpy. Then you'll have to bake it to reconvert it![]()
