Would this kill a snail?

So my only snail was happy cleaning the wall until two days ago I found it upside down. Flipped it right side up and it was fine. Today it hasn’t moved. Picked it up, touched the inside with tong, it doesn’t move. Think it’s dead. I found this shrimp like creature crawled out from inside. Could it be the culprit?

Big copepod or a mysid shrimp maybe. That’s a good guy, although @NanoCrazed had some evil pods. Being upside down may have starved it or something else killed it, and then that little guy was just cleaning up the mess

Amphipod is likely just feeding on dead snail, not a cause.

For me, usual cause for sudden snail death is large Alk/PH swings.
That and a certain wrasse....
