Ok guys, thinking of starting a pico again. I was wondering- should I have a black or regular colored false bottom? It'll basically be clear pvc cement poured over a thin layer of the sand on the bottom of the tank. Tank will probably have a black back (false back?) and maybe have some foam on it with rubble to provide more growing space. Mushroom/ric/zoa dominated with one small frogspawn and either 2x 50/50 or actinic PC's over it (unless I bite the bullet and get small T5's...but not sure of the color combos available). The only other option is daylight pc's and some LED's to add more pop. Regardless, the tank will have some heavier actinic color, so should I go with white sand or black?
