Apex breakout box float valve

Hi guys wondering if anybody has made a float valve to an apex breakout box that will kill the ato if it happens to fail. I tried looking on YouTube they just show the programming but not how they did it or where to get the parts. I want to add another layer of protection and don’t want to come home again to flooded tank. Thanks

Sure you can do that and you would add this to the ATO outlet programming assuming you have the float switch connected I1 and the BoB is connected to the Apex base unit. Also when the float switch rises it goes to CLOSED. Sometimes this can be swapped and if that is the case change the programming below from Closed to Open.

If Sw1 Closed Then OFF

Parts? Just any reed float switch should do, two wires, hook to your break out box it will register is a closed state or open state which you can program as you see fit.
