Apex fingerprint unlock

Does anyone know if I can turn this off? I turned on biometric lock and it's the stupidest thing ever, especially for this app. Nothing like being locked out from apex cause your hand is wet.

And for the record, I bumped my salinity probe loose earlier today... It's fixed now...

That was the problem. I was trying to turn it off from the classic ui. Thank you.
