Automatic roller filter

my sump won't fit both an automatic roller filter and skimmer. I was wondering if I went with automatic roller filter can I eliminate the Skimmer? Also what Automatic roller filters do you use and recommend?

No question for me, skimmer is more important than a roller filter. If you can’t fit both I would stop right there.

How big is your sump? Show a pic? What roller may are you thinking? I have a klir 4 in the back of my IM 40 all in one, so it can fit in tight places! They also make brackets for them, I have a klir 7 in the bracket in the sump of my 100gl. Also how big is your tank? And I agree with JVU, skimmer is more jmportant but you might be able to get both, and nothing wrong with the best of both worlds, lol!
