Downsizing to a sumpless Frag Tank

I want to downsize one of my tanks. 40 gallon reef stocked with LR, LS and mostly LPS frags. My sump has LS, Mangroves and Chaeto. So im completely getting rid of the 60 Gallon tank, stand and sump while planning to transfer all my corals to a small 10 bare bottom frag tank. No Sump, No sand and maybe a little bit of live rock.

Will this be okay to do. Considering i will be removing the Live Sand and Most of the live rock? what would i need to be aware of as far as parameters?

I know many of you do frag swaps. Any advice would help. Thank

A bare bottom tank with some live rock will be fine for frags. If you can, it's best to set the new tank up and move the live rock over a few days before you move any frags.

Thanks bluprntguy. I actually did the swap. I used big dry crushed coral for the bed. I transferred the LR and tank water at the same time. Also built the stand the same day as the transfer. I was burnt lol
