Goo Gone ok for acrylic??

Some of the glue residue from the protective paper on the acrylic is stuck on my tank and a B****H to get off. Anyone ever use goo gone and did it work good?

Depending on the type of acrylic. Gen recommended using it on certain types, give him a shout to be sure.

Its cell cast, hopefully its ok. Did some searching and sounds like a few people have used it and works ok. I'll pick some up tommorow and try on a small area. Im just affraid of it hazing the acrylic. I'll also hit up Gen for input. Thanks Jim.

I used it on the side of a tank. Just used real little and was careful with it. Didn't let it sit too long and washed the tank thoroughly afterwards

Worked like a champ! still a couple small smudges but i could have let it sit for a bit. not that big of a concern tho. Thanks again folks!
