Last week I went to Pick N Pull with my brother and son to get some parts for my brother's Golf. While they were looking for the parts, I saw a nice set of BBS two-piece wheels with decent tires that were still mounted on a Jetta but they had the wheel locking stud. I knew my son has the proper adapter to remove that stud.
Yesterday I found it and decided to take a chance and drive down to SJ for the wheel set. All four were still on the car but since someone (my guess) couldn't have them, the logic says I can't either.
All the bolts holding the two-piece wheels together were removed. I thought, hmmmm, maybe the person got smart and is planing on returning to get the set. As I check around the car, I noticed that a saw was used to damage one of the wheels.
