Installing T5 water-resistant endcaps

Anyone have any of these? Perhaps you can take a picture of how they're installed in your canopy? I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around this for some reason and I'm curious if I need to route out a groove for them to sit into, or if there is supposed to be that gap between the bottom of the standoff and the wood they're attached to.

Phong is it right, just bend the wire and screw them directly in. If you cool like me you'll have a friend make a double mount on a CnC mill so they can be as close as possible :lol:
 
Alright, thanks guys, not only did you tell me how it's done normally, but you told me an answer I was extremely pleased with... because I sure as hell didn't want to have to use the router on the wood (which is already on order of the thickness of the tabs) to fit these guys in...

Of course I found out my reflectors need to be trimmed down a bit because they go all the way to the edge of the bulb, but these guys are fat bastards.
