RBTA got sucked into the overflow. 1/6 + 5/6 piece. what to do?

So my crazy RBTA moved last night. From the top right to top left and got sucked into the overflow.
This morning I saw about 1/6 of the rbta behind the overflow. I quickly tried to remove it, but that section
behind the overflow broke. So now I have 1/6 and 5/6 of the orginal.

That 1/6 is really messed up. Do I throw it away? or see if it will regrow back. Not sure if there is 1/2 a mouth
or 1/6 of a mouth. It is really really messed up. deflated ball size lump of gump.

That 5/6 looks better. But just to be sure, I put it in a cup so that my clowns will not bother it.

Please advise.

is it turning gooey? and spewing off a lot of stuff?

No. Water is still clear. Not spewing off anything. Same both piece.

if its not doing anything like that then i would hold off see what happends.. any chance you can take some closeup pics of it?

It seems like both piece is likely to survive .

I think the rbta was trying to split to safe itself when a portion of it got sucked behind the overflow.

The arms of the small piece has started to bubble up under light and seems to be establishing its feet.

The bigger piece seems all normal now.

I now have 2 rbta because of an accident.

Mine split in two after it got sucked into the powerhead. I looked touch and go for a few days(lots of inflating and deflating), but both pieces came though okay.

If their feet get torn infection can set in, but they seem hardy to me.

I cross my fingers for you =)
