Hey everyone
I am thinkin about getting a Red Sea Max 34 gal. I wanted to see what everyone thought of them...

Any problems? Mods?

Good idea/bad idea


I know they are a bit pricey, but my wife really likes the way they look, so......

Any and all comments and ideas are welcome

How far away are you from Milpitas?

Aquatic Gallery set one up last week while I was there. You might want to stop by and take a look at it.
 
No chiller on the system. It's basically the stock system.

They marketed their lighting really weird. It says T5s on the outside of the box, but if you look at the bulbs, they're power compacts. If you look at the bulb area on the hood, it says 2x55W T5 PC...

If it looks like a PC and works like a PC, then call it a PC. Don't try to market it as a T5...
 
ha ha that's funny.....interesting.. I really liked the light look (super bright and white)on it looked killer. That is a really good store, so they must know it is a good product
 
Dolphin Pet Village has a great price on them. $599 and I think that is with a stand, but ask for Tyler about them. They are a sponsor for us.
