Neptune Aquatics

RO/DI. Need selection help

Be very careful though, if you had a 4:1 ratio and filled a 30g brute that's 120 gallons of water which might be more than a planter box can handle :D

I got a front loader so there isn;t much water capacity there.

hmm..I have been wanting to do a hydroponic garden for a long time. I guess when I set it up, I can use the waste water there :-D

So what did you end up getting Tony? I was planning on getting a unit from air water and ice this week when I say this vendor on ebay http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/costreef

Their 100 gpd 6 stage unit is only $60 + $30 shipping. As cheap as I am I want to jump on it but I don't want to get a PofC either. So I have 2 questions.

1) So any comments on the appearance of their products?

2) What do you guys think of the using 1 DI filter followed by a 3rd carbon filter for better tasting water? (since I may want to use this for drinking water too... maybe)

It's not a highjack if it's on topic right :)

Probably to late but I picked up a mighty mite from airwaterice.com, no complaints and its tiny.
